God's Abundant Blessings

I go through times when I have nothing to report and then it seems I'm over flowing with things to say. God just continues to bless me and my family. I took my third treatmeant this past Friday, and as of Saturday night, I've never felt better. I get to take this next week off. I'm very excited about that. In fact, almost as excited as winning the freezer of food at charity ball last weekend. For thoes of you who don't know, Mark and I won a freezer packed with over 90 different kinds of food items. Can you believe how good God is? As a friend said, "See, God even cares what we have for dinner."

Kim: I am so glad that God is taking care of you while you are having chemo.
I spoke with your mom today and shared this scripture with her, of course I couldn't remember exactaly where it was and had to ask you dad which book it was in. I wanted to share it with Mary, but, you most of all. Its Mark 16:17-18."And these signs will accompany those who believe; in my name they will drive out demons;they will speak with new tongues;(I take that to mean with faith and a positive attitude which is what I hear in your words) they will pick up snakes with their hands;and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all!!! they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
Congratulations on your prize. I'snt God good??
Love to all, Shirley W.

Sweet Kim,

Praise God- He is mighty to be praised!!! It is so wonderful to read how he is taking care of you and your family. That freezer of food was a delicious gift from God to your sweet family!!! The Lord provides for our needs in so many miraculous ways. If Jesus can feed the five thousand, he can feed the six McNabbs!

John 6:5-13
When Jesus looked up and saw a great crow

d coming toward him, he said to Philip,"Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?" He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
Philip answered him,"eight months' wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!"
Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up, "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?"
Jesus said," Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five thousand of them. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten."

I know you know this story. I just love Jesus so much that I had to type it out. His word is LIFE and POWER. He is the bread of life. He is our food. He is all that we need. I just love to read how BIG he is working in your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a might God we serve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you, Beverly

“Faith” it out till you figure it out!

“When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” (Ps 61:2). When you’re overwhelmed it’s easy to “jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job.” But Kim you have shown us that, “When we can’t figure it out, we have to faith it out.” Here’s what I have learned from your adversity: (a) It shows you how much you need God. It reminds you of your humanity; that you’re just a heartbeat from eternity. (b) It produces character, refines the integrity of your heart and takes away the desire to play games. (c) It lets God use you by showing others that in their darkest hour He’ll be there for them too.

Paul says that nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ. So when you start wondering, “Why did God let this happen?” remember, He never said you wouldn’t face adversity. No. He said you’d never be outside His care. So don’t judge God’s love based on your circumstances—instead look for Him in the midst of them.

Again, thanks Kim for sharing with us your testimony of true faith! bd

Kim,
Good morning! I continue to pray that your treatments go as well as they have been over the past several weeks. I just had to write this morning, as I was in my quite time and working a day BEHIND in my sunday school lesson...God placed you on my heart. I was reading Philippians 3:12-14 where Paul was writting from prison to the church he started in Philippi. In this passage, I thought of you and how the Lord is giving you the strength and the courage to encounter all that you do daily. In vs 12 Paul knows that he is not the standard (Jesus is) and that he has not yet "been made perfect" and then he goes on to say.."I press on". Even though Paul is in prison and obviously missing the fellowship with the believers in Philippi, as he states in Chapter 1:7-8, he continues to move forward in his relationship with Jesus. He said that there is one thing he does: "forgeting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead". I felt lead this morning to encourage you in the Lord. For some reason this passage made me think of you and the 2 Mile race you told Amy and I about on Sunday. Amy and I truly value our friendship with you and Mark. I hope you have a blessed day.

In Christ Love,
Steve L.

Kim,
I'm glad you're on the road to recovery. Prais GOD! Please pray for 10 year old grandson Tyus with Cerebral Palsy. That he will soon be able to walk, speak clearer and become independent. He is very intelligent but his physical disabilities prevent him from having friends or relationship with children his age. His father left him and his mother several years ago. Daughter Danyell is unable to work and struggles to get him back and forth to therapies.

GOD Bless you, your family and the lives of people you have touched.

Clare T
