Kim's Prayer

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." --2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Houston, we still have a problem!

Would somebody please phone God and tell him we are getting a bit impatient. When you know when my appointment is, will you let me know. They say laughter is the best medicine and my prescription is running low!

Still waiting, Love Kim

Dear Kim,

You have been such an inspiration to me and I am sure others with your comments and thoughts here on this blog. I think what can I say to her-she is encouraging others with her comments! I just want you to know that I think and pray for you and your family daily. I truly believe and pray for your complete health in body and spirit. I do understand that the waiting must be long and frustrating at times.
"When you've done everything you know how to do, just keep on standing firm" (Ephesians 6:13)
All things work together in God's order and time. Keep standing firm!
Keep believing-and standing firm on the inside. God is in control,
loves you and wants you to have His best! Mary Jo

Kim and Mark, David and I join so many others to wrap you in prayer and walk this journey with you. Since our diagnosis of PCa in July God has led us in the right directions to the best decisions through angels who have been with us through every turn, lifted us up when we despaired, and celebrated as we renewed hope. I know you experienced the same thing the first time around and will again now. He will be right there with your physicians, with your family, and will help all of us to anticipate and meet whatever needs you have. We learned to let go and allow people to help, as you did. We are there for you again, for unceasing prayers, for meals, for whatever the children need, and most of all for whatever you two need. Your strength has been an example to so many of us, but your willingness to be open about your fear is equally encouraging and admirable to say to us, "I need you." Grace . . . Faye
