Kim's Prayer

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." --2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Hospital stay update

It's amazing what a little bag of fluid pumped into the body can do for you! Kim is feeling much better today. She got zapped with her first of 14 days of radiation to shrink the lymph nodes around her windpipe. It should make breathing easier. She's getting good rest and we're hopeful she'll be feeling much stronger when they release her tomorrow.

Kim gets the "K-LOVE encouraging word of the day" by email and today's was the Scripture at the top of this webpage (2 Cor.) We're always amazed when we see God's I.V. drip his assurances into our life.

We're blessed by the many thoughtful words and prayers you've extended to our family. Thank you.

Mark

Mark and Kim-

I have thought about you all and your family so much today. I was very happy to see an update when I checked your blog tonight. Todd and I were at Ridgefield tonight prayerwalking for the upcoming school year. Please know that you all were a specific part of this prayer. Please let me know if I can do anything to help - Claire is quite fond of Lehman and would be pleased to have him over. She says that he likes her but I think it may be the other way around! Keep going strong, Kim - you are so tough! We love you!

Mark and Kim,

So thankful that you can still see God's hand upon you, and still praying that He will do a mighty work in you.

Kim, If anyone can prove those Dr's wrong and beat this thing - you can!

You all have our love and prayers,

Kim, I am so glad that you are going home. There is no place like it when you feel ready. It is rather lovely to have someplace to rest in the hospital when you need it, but home is so special. I hope that you got my e-wish for you. It looks as if we are getting the same scriptures! It just seemed so appropriate. I hope that you feel like coming to Church Sunday, but if not, just say the word, and we will bring Church to you! Call me. I love you & think & pray for you every day. Tracy F.

Amen Karen!! Let the worshippers arise, let the sons and daughters sing....we surrender our all to you Lord.....we surrender to the King. We surrender to you in prayer & thanksgiving and Believe in your healing power. Heavenly Father, you love Kim beyond imagine. You knit her in her mother's womb and you have her written on the palms of your hands. You know every hair on her precious head so we KNOW that you know every need she has at this time. You have told us to call out to you and you will answer. We believe in this and rely upon your great sovereignty. You are so big, bigger than cancer, bigger than pain, bigger than anything that we can even comprehend Father. You give strength to the weary and power to the weak. We hope in you Lord and ask for you to renew Kim's strength. Let her not grow tired or weary, but let her soar on wings like an eagle. We ask for healing from THE HEALER. Wisdom and power are Yours. Lord, grant us patience as we wait upon your will, lift our faith and help us to pray continually and to give thanks in all circumstances. Your will is good, pleasing and perfect and we know that you are the same yesterday, today and forever! Thank you for all that you have done and will do in this situation.....your miracles and blessings abound in ways that we cannot see or understand. We pray for a veil of protection upon this family and may they feel the love that surrounds them at all times. Let Kim and Mark stand strong and be fully assured - may they continue to walk by faith. Praying BIG and BELIEVING BIG. To your glory forever and ever...
In Jesus' name, Amen

Our family thinks of you so much and also are including you in our daily prayers! Words escape me - that's why I have never added a comment. Just know that you are loved so deeply by so many near and far. The prayer in the previous post moved me to tears, as your strength and courage seem to do frequently. You are truly an inspiration and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to share in this display of your tremendous faith.
Much love!! The Harmons
