Kim's Prayer

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." --2 Corinthians 4:8-9

What a Blessing

"Everlasting God" is a popular song on Christian radio that ends with a child speaking the verse I cling to; Isaiah 40:28-31. My church Praise band leader, Shawn, knew that and put it in the worship service. The night before Church, his wife called to see if any of my children would like to recite that verse. My 8 year old, without pause, said "sure."

Here it is. I hope it brings you as much strength as it does me.

Happy Mother's Day Kim!
For some reason I can't upload this, but I can imagine it. How awesome! We continue to lift you all up and especially will be in prayer for you this next week as you travel to Houston.

My prayer for you today:
Heavenly Father, thank you for Kim and for using her life to bless so many. Thank you for all that you have done for her so far and for each precious moment she spends with her children and husband. Precious Jesus, please be Kim's shield, her strength, her portion, her strong tower, her comfort, her EVERY present help in this time of need. I thank you for your hand upon Kim today and as she travels this next week. Thank you for always hearing our prayers. I boldly ask you for a miracle for precious Kim and believe that nothing is beyond your mighty reach.

IN HIS NAME,
Amen

Kim, I was watching the replay Wednesday night since I was out of town Sunday. I saw your son standing up front reading the verses. As I listened to your son, it brought me to tears. Have a wonderful Mothers day. You and your family will be in my prayers this week while you are in Houston. Remind your mother your bible study ladies are just a phone call away. Paula

How touching! Lehman did a beautiful job of inspiring us all with his confident reading of the scripture...and you're right: that particular scripture does give strength, and the music was good, too. Since we at Wesley have already prayed for your healing, we are now praying for you to RECEIVE and accept your healing through this clinical trial. Love you and yours. Blanche

Kim,

What a wonderful Mother's Day gift from Lehman. We love him immensely. He makes me laugh every time I see him and I am dearly grateful that Grace has such an awesome friend. Our best wishes to you while in Texas. You have our love, hope, & prayers.

Karen, Don, & Grace

p.s. Next time you see Shawn's wife, Ellen, ask her about being a "Fun" girl.

Praying for you today and everyday for a new battle plan and renewed hope. We are frustrated but faithful to wait for His answer. I was so blessed watching Lehman read this passage in person, and doubly blessed to see it again on U-Tube. Love to you and your family, Elaine

Kim,
I want you to know that I think of you so often. You are in my prayers. I'm constantly aware of how many lives you have touched with your sweet confidence in Jesus. I ask daily that His Holy Spirit will find a path to health and healing for you. I also ask comfort for Mark and the children. Love, JB

Hi,Kim!
Thinking of you and yours today... Girl, we know you would have loved being there with us. It was a beautiful morning...Just a touch of breeze as we, your "mile-of-prayer-walkers" strolled quietly and purposefully around the YMCA track.
You, Mark, your kiddos and family were the focus of so many prayers of hope and comfort. All the many Christians there knew that where two are more are gathered, God is present...AMEN!

Today, I read Psalm 61 and thought of you. David finds himself in foreign territory and he prays to God for strength, security and assurance. The Bible says here that we can trust that God will be there to answer our prayers for help. God never abandons us.
-Love to you and yours, S. Tonymon
