Kim's Prayer

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." --2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Today's the day!

Today is Friday and the day we have been praying for. I have to be there at 8:30 and the surgery is going to be around 11:00. I'm her second case. At this point i'm just ready to get this over with. Pray that she will get everything she needs to get and will not have to cut my pectoral muscle.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. I'll let you know how it goes. Pray that when I wake up from this I'm cancer free.

Kim

By the time you read this you will be out of surgery and on your way to a complete recovery. I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. I count it a privilege to have the honor of praying for you and watching as you give praise to God even through your toughest trials. What an inspiration you are! It is funny how our paths have crossed over the years and our circle of friends overlap in so many places.

I heard part of this passage on the radio and was drawn to read it all and when I did you were brought to my mind so this is my prayer for you.
Isaiah 40:29 -31
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Prayers have been lifted up ALL day for you, your family and the doctors. I just read the blog above...and as many times as I read and hear my favorite scripture I'm seriously now considering a tatoo. No, but seriously, I am so very thankful for God's inspiring words it gives me the strength, courage and hope to keep moving forward no matter the circumstance. This too shall pass sweet Kim and you will soar on wings like Eagles! We are all praying for you and your family!
