Headed back to Houston
The time has come that we have been praying for. My surgery is Friday! I'm not looking forward to this in the sense that I don't want to have surgery but I so want this cancer out of my body. I'm a little nervous but I know God will give me the strength and courage to do this. He has been so faithful this far he is not gonna leave me now. Pray for me that all goes well with the surgery and that it is very successful. Pray for my parents and children that God will keep them safe. I pray everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July! I will let you know how everything goes.

All my thoughts and prayers are with you this week. I will be specific: complete healing by God's will. If things get a little scary do what Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane: go to the Father with those fears! 1 John 4:18 tells us that "perfect love casts out fear" and perfect love is what God has for you..
